Party's End
Jan. 10th, 2005 01:03Well, there's leftover lasagne in my fridge and a few more memories in my head. It must be the end of the Bash again.
Each one is different. I say this after eight years and I'll likely still say it after eighteen. As compared to the rest I've been to, this was... nice. Not as superb as a couple of others, definitely not bad. Quietish but not dead. Beyond that, as with anything, I think you had to be there.
I was thinking during the drive back, but most of that is still sufficiently lacking in form that I won't try to articulate it here. It was mostly about the nature of my LiveJournal friends list -- I think everyone has slightly different criteria for who makes it onto the list -- and looking over my discussion with Tigger about the friends/loves spectrum. That's a followup on my previous post, and a subject I will be coming back to when the pieces settle out in my mind.
It's so tempting to coast for the next week, but I need to get several things done... I need to clear out the garden, if I can do so without killing myself, I need to settle a few school things, and I need to meditate. I can't really expect to do that daily, but several times this week would be nice. It would help coalesce a bunch of my trains of thought, I think, and help me feel better in general.
But for now, the weekend is done. Time for me to get some sleep.
