It served us well
Sep. 29th, 2005 23:11RIP, the family microwave. It was twenty-four years old, older than some of my friends, and rarely gave us problems. Now we get to shop for a new one, but I'm not sure we'll find one we like as much.
It's the latest fatality:
knaveofhearts' cable modem went on the fritz while I was visiting this last weekend, for no apparent reason, and my dad's TV has started to get the snap of death in the last week. I'm starting to think it's just a problem with proximity to me.
Oh, and Charlotte had to get fixed today, too, but that's actually an improvement over the original design. :) Emily gets her own heating element disabled tomorrow. Then they can each be Horrible Monsters in their Elizabethan collars, and scare each other.
