I don't sleepwalk...
Sep. 25th, 2005 15:02I spent the entire night last night dreaming about organic reaction mechanisms. What goes where with what reactants and which catalysts. It feels like OChem consumes far more of my brain cycles than just about any class has (other than perhaps the insane English class a year and a half ago).
The advantage of this, however, seems to be that I now know most of the mechanisms without having consciously memorized them. Studying in my sleep, while not particularly restful, is still apparently effective. I made flash cards anyway, to fill in the gap... but I did some of the homework with the eerie feeling of having borrowed someone else's brain. (How did I know that?)
I have an hour before I need to head out. Time to buckle down again.
