For today

It's OChem, OChem, a difficult thing to be sure,
It's OChem, OChem, today I will have to endure.

I need to:

• get through Chapter 2. I might just read straight through and do the problems at the end; the in-section problems are time-consuming and I seem to get them all right on the first pass anyway. Maybe it'll go a little quicker, and if I still need practice on something I can go do the other problems.


• I have that MSDS handout to do.


• I need to crank on the previous lab as much as I can, so that I can double-check what Fred comes up with.


• I need to install the (Windows) software to do that last molecular model, then pull the three together into one page. (Thursday)


• I need to read the current lab over, to make sure I remember what we're doing tomorrow. (Tuesday)


• I also need to read the biology email for this week, so that I don't get any surprises on Wednesday.


• Well, okay, got a surprise... I need to finish writing the bio experiments for Wednesday, since my thrice-damned lab partner hasn't contacted me to hash them out together. (Tuesday evening)


• I should also write up my bio project proposal, get it out of the way.

As a study break, I get to dig out the valve at the side of the house so that my dad can find out what parts he needs to buy to replace it. Losing water pressure about once a week has been tedious.

I should also clean out the car... and I need to fill out that third copy of the Master Gardener Volunteer Agreement. Maybe they won't lose this one.

Edit: Today is sucking. I've had something to eat, though, and the cramps have receded to a dull roar... maybe I'll get a little more accomplished tonight. I hope.
