My weekend

I look at the calendar, and says I, "Yikes," I says.

• Tonight is the League Board meeting... I need to sit there and prod people about what they want out of the website.


• Friday I could 1) go to Friday Night Waltz or 2) go to the Sushi Run in San Leandro. I will probably 3) can peaches.


• Saturday there is the Baycon BBQ in Sunnyvale, the Bash in San Leandro, and Gaskells in the evening. I plan to attend the latter two, and whether I go for afters with eyeofcanaan and phantomdancer will depend on what I feel like at the time. That, and we'll have to see whether knaveofhearts chooses to go dancing, and if so, what he might feel like doing afterward.


• Sunday is the Bash. I can't really leave for long on Sunday, at least until my food is in the oven -- if I want a special wheat-free lasagne, I need to be there to create it. And eat it, of course.


• Monday looks to be fun -- some rare time with joedecker during the day, which puts me in the south bay near where emmett_the_sane lives now, and a hop from where he works. We're scheduled to get together for dinner, and I'll see about finding a way to kill whatever hours are in between... maybe I'll look up Jim, he's down there too.


• Tuesday starts to calm down, but I still have a meeting in the evening -- I haven't been getting to the Master Gardener events, it's time I corrected that.


• Wednesday.... my god, a free day?


• Thursday is the start of school, and an acupuncture appointment later. That should be enough for one day...


• Saturday, my birthday party; Sunday, a traditional Jewish wedding in Geyserville (middle of nowhere), then.... rest, until school Monday evening. sigh.

Looks like summer vacation's over.

If I've got the energy for Gaskell's at the end of my week of doom, I'm going to do it.

I don't know how late I'll stay, mind you, but I'll definitely attend if I can.

That is exceedingly busy. Damn, I wish I had that much to do. Why is there no fun things/people up in Sacramento like there are down there....
