This is the "things I need to consider when I move" post. There is a different one for the constellation of potential moving plans.


- Contact Social Security
- Contact Cal Fresh
- Contact FedLoan
- Contact CCHP
- Contact IRS
- Contact Stanford (mailing address, pharmacy)
- Find new car insurance
- Apply for a new drivers license
- Switch my vehicle registration
- Register my new mailing address with the post office
- Register to vote
- Switch banks
- Apply to Oregon Health Plan
- Apply for SNAP
- Change CenturyLink account to my name
- Change PGE account to my name

make sure you're ready for the RealID requirements, if you haven't done that in CA already. otherwise you might need to change your address with the IRS in order to get any stimulus payments. don't think i've noticed the list missing anything else.

IRS is on the list. And as far as I know, I don't need RealID, at least for the foreseeable future. (It's only required for air travel, which I can't do anyway, and I have a passport.)
