torquillI have found an interest in someone I've known, at least peripherally, for a while. He is nice to look at, which is a plus. :) Green eyes and auburn hair, nice build...
I ran into him a few years ago, shortly after he got his PhD -- he's an MIT grad, which is pretty impressive (!) but in his case it's not surprising. So he's intelligent, but he's also really quiet and I think he might be sort of shy socially. I haven't had much of a chance to find out.
He's highly regarded because of some work he did at a lab in New Mexico a couple of years back... from what I've seen, he has an impressive ability to get things done, and he seems to love difficult problems. That's probably what created his reputation.
So he's smart, athletic (didn't mention that part), has great job prospects, and he's attractive. If it weren't for the fact that he feels a need to sleep with a crowbar under his pillow, he'd be perfect.
