Sadly, no. It happens to be the seasonal inflection point (halfway between the solstice and the equinox) and my friend knaveofhearts throws a mead-brewing party each time. I can't drink the results, but I have a beige thumb, so I'll be in Fremont until midnight or so wrangling yeast.

I really wish I could go. :/ I have a nasty suspicion that they may throw another one on August 23, simply because that's One Of Those Weekends when everybody and their dog is throwing a party.
