torquillI've gotten every errand done but one today. Printed out my schedule, then went and sold my book back ($36 is about half what I paid for it; par for the course). Got a form from Financial Aid. Filled it out and took it back just now, only to have the (smart) clerk tell me I didn't need quite so much paperwork -- I can just request another small loan to cover travel expenses, no explanation needed. Since the documentation I had been doing would have pulled on my loans again anyway, there's no big change except that it's unsubsidized... the interest on a $3000 loan won't kill me, as compared to the big guys I'm already carrying. So that's in process now.
I need to find out what to do about filing a FAFSA for next year when I fully expect to have graduated and be going into grad school. Assuming I'm accepted and all that.
Also up in the air is my request to have one of my UCSC courses satisfy a GE requirement -- it would keep me out of summer session this next year, but I didn't get a definitive yes or no. Gotta pursue that.
Class in five... I had read it as 13:10, but it actually starts at 13:40. More time to help keep the felines in the air...
