Still standing
Apr. 19th, 2007 12:43I've been starvingly hungry all morning, even after two energy bars. Hopefully lunch has fixed that.
I note that I have now had two bio teachers who have proposed the same harmless (yet hilarious) experiment with Siamese cats. I suspect almost all biology profs know it, and delight in amusing classes with it.
I have determined that there is something better than having a colleague who speaks with a quiet English accent (Londonish). That would be a tall, thin, highly intelligent colleague who speaks with a quiet English accent about highly scientific subjects I'm interested in. Classes are more pleasant when you can admire the scenery along the way... :)
Exercise seems to be broadening my hips again as I put on a little more muscle; I'm having trouble squeezing into lecture seats designed for narrow people. Phenotypic variation for the lose.
I have to make sure I don't fall asleep during lab lecture. If I can manage that, I'll be fine. I just wish it would warm up for a change...
