torquillToday was... surprisingly normal.
I wasn't really exhausted, for a wonder. I turned in my biochem quiz with some confidence. I didn't even have to fight too hard not to fall asleep before lunch (two hours of biochem lecture can be deadly). I was afraid I'd suffer through lab, but that wasn't particularly dull, and the hands-on part was very light -- enough so that I could have been out of there before 3, if I hadn't stuck around to discuss charcoal rot with Bob. (I have a new extra-credit assignment: produce infected plants to bring in, since charcoal rot is uncommon in Northern CA. Must plant some short-season bush beans tomorrow, see if I can get them to succumb by June...)
I seem to be back to my usual cheerful self, which is a large relief after yesterday. I never did have time last night to eat my ice cream (long story), so now I'll have some dessert after my Indian food tonight. All in all, a very good day.
I may skip Picnic Day in favor of me-time, see whether I can find some peace of mind by starting the garden in earnest. I'll decide tomorrow.
