It's a day
Feb. 14th, 2007 12:57I can feel the inflammation, a burning, metallic bitter tang that washes over me every so often like the heat from a blast furnace. It's not as bad as it could be -- thank goodness -- but it's there, and I can feel it sapping my energy constantly. I called Dr. J, but I'm not holding my breath for the chance that he'll be able to work me in before Friday, given that I'm only home after 6pm.
The good news is that it feels like a bone in my upper shoulders is out, which means getting rid of the inflammation should be a five-minute fix. If I can get it.
Otherwise things are nominal. I made bread dough this morning and set it in the fridge, and I'll wake it up when I get home. I need to ask
semy_of_pearls what she's doing tomorrow evening (how 'bout it?) as it would be a good evening for me to work on the bike seat and socialize. Tonight I'll content myself with baking; there's a lot of experimentation to be done still in the bread category.
Friday Nick and I are hoping to see Pan's Labyrinth if it's still showing downtown. That'll be a nice Valentine's date... if it's gone already, we may take a chance on Ghost Rider.
