torquillIt strikes me that setting up a Salvation Army donation pot outside a Big!Lots is an exercise in futility.
I was wandering through Mervyn's yesterday while Christmas shopping and heard "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" on the sound system. Yeah, you and me both, Bono.
My shopping is all done, though, unless I can figure out something to give a couple of people I care about who don't have gift lists. I may not worry about it, just let them know I value them some other way.
This is my first shot at a post using Drivel. I don't think much of the regular LJ update page these days... and while I don't have any choice but to use it when I'm posting from school, I figured I might as well look into clients for when I'm home. So far it seems simple, easy, and aesthetically neutral. The only flaw I can find so far is that it doesn't show my mood icon when I select a mood.
Looking forward to a quiet evening and a day spent in the yard tomorrow.
