Any jewelers out there?

Do you know anyone who has a use for semi-precious cabochons?

I have a whole bunch of them, mostly ovals with a few square or round lozenges. There's a lot of rose quartz, some very nice opals, a couple of blue agates and a whole set of small amethyst round cabs. I also have a full gross of small gold-fill screweyes, suitable for mounting half-drilled beads or pearls.

I don't do jewelry beyond beading and a little wire-work, so I have no use at all for these. Free to anyone who wants them.

I have a friend who is a jeweler. She did the rings that I gave out. She uses cabachons frequently.

drangnon pointed me here. I am a jeweler, in my spare time. I also mostly do beading, but that is only because recently I've been without acces to fire. I'd love to use these.

Maybe if Luna doesn't mind you could make me something from one of the opals. I love opals and all of mine have gotten lost. Knave seems to be a pretty easy go between for this group.

I don't mind. There's very little in this set that I would want; the exception is a pair of half-drilled garnet beads, where I gave a thought to how I might use them. I threw them in with the rest, though. I love garnets, and I'd enjoy a pair of earrings made with them, but I'm not coming up with any brainstorms on what would make them look good.

knaveofhearts is heading off for Thanksgiving, but I'll hand the packet to him on the 28th. Hopefully that will get it on its way.
