torquillHaving looked over the records, 111 degrees is not the hottest it's been here, ever. We've hit it a few times in the last thirty years.
112, on the other hand, we have only hit twice on record -- both times in the early 70's, before even my brother was born. (1972 it was 115, and we got to 113 a year or two before that.)
It is going to be 112 tomorrow.
(It is currently 92 degrees, outside and in.)
