This seems to agree with me
Feb. 3rd, 2006 08:15Since I started school again, I've been getting more exercise (taking out trees and digging are both big on ab-work, and then there's the walking) and eating less. I'd already gotten into the habit of drinking three pots of rooibos tea most nights, which is a lot more water than I used to drink.
My body seems to think I'm carrying a little extra, since my current habit of surviving on an energy bar or two until late afternoon isn't making me hungry. I'm getting enough to prevent panicking my metabolism, but it seems like I may be losing a little of the handles around my hips. We'll see. I'm getting other signs that my system is better in balance and better hydrated, which are never bad things.
Now I just need to figure out how to work in more fruits and veggies; I have a faint craving for them, so it's a matter of getting more salad and oranges and putting a reminder by the computer to eat them.
