It's the thought that counts, I guess

eyeofcanaan put together a blood drive for before Christmas. I didn't participate on that day, since I was about to collapse after finals and had a busy and strenuous weekend. So I postponed it until I was back on my feet, the actual weekend before Christmas. Then I got anemia. Okay, so I'll give blood before the new year.

Saint Stephen's Day continued the trend of the month, and four days later I know I'm not going to be able to give blood today or tomorrow, not if I'm spending the next few days teaching my system how to process solid food again. Aggravation and sadness.

I did try, love. The mind is willing, but the body is weak.




December has not been my month.
