• Pull up an image or two for my presentation, and mail it to the teacher I made a powerpoint file, even.


• Finish my UC essay


• Fill out the application, either in a paper draft or the real thing online


• Edit the Decatur logo


• Write the letter to Police Services


• See HP (this is not negotiable)

My god, could this actually be a weekend with no OChem homework? *gasp*

Edit: no, of course it couldn't. Take, for instance, the lab report which I just discovered is due Tuesday. Bah.

When I went to my counseling appointment, their "lightning bolt" had failed -- it's the computer applet that tells the target counselor when the student has logged in at the front desk. I was, consequently, kept waiting for over ten minutes before my counselor got curious and came out to look.

That delay meant that the 40 minutes of change I had put into the meter (never mind it swallowed an extra quarter without a word) was about five minutes too little. Police Services apparently watches the metered spaces like a hawk... I had hoped for a couple of minutes of leeway, and got a ticket instead.

Needless to say I stomped down to Counseling and got an initialed appointment card and a promise to vouch for me -- so long as I write Police Services a letter of explanation. As if I didn't have enough homework already.

No matter how tight money is, I will never again go without buying a parking permit, even if I use it only three times a semester. DVC will, without fail, find some way to screw me if I don't.
