It's the end of my week, and I am not dead.

I'm not even really tired. This despite the fact that I had to recover from Hell Week last week, I was feeling weak and shaky from CFS as recently as Tuesday, I've had to go in two days this week for additional lab time (five hours of make-up in addition to the usual six hours), I haven't been sleeping more than seven hours (and change) of sleep a night, and I've had a few whiffs of methyl chloride and acetone in lab. Oh, and I went out and cleared a few hundred square feet of garden area Tuesday evening.

I'm not hyper, or worn out, or dreading my homework. I seem to have settled in.

I really am stronger than I was, I guess... the place I want to be is where doing my daily stuff, things like school and driving and gardening, replenishes my energy and stamina. That seems to be the case now -- I crashed last week, badly, and while I had to take it easy for two days, I didn't do anything really unusual to recover. I did school as usual this week (though I did cut out some of the walking when I felt low-energy at the time) and now I seem to be back to just about full strength.

This is really encouraging. It used to be that the only way to recover from a bad crash was to stay in bed for a week, and anything else just prolonged it. This I can work with. Stress is still enemy number one, but I can recover quickly once the stress is removed. That's the way it should work...
