torquillI just got on GardenWeb for the first time in eight months and told them why I haven't been around much. And won't be, much as I want to join in.
I knew it would probably be painful... but recounting the reasons I'm not out there planting heirloom tomatoes right now, to an audience who shares my love of vegetable gardening, took off the scabs.
I'll have a few plants -- a half dozen tomatoes if I can, a sweet potato, a pepper or two, and the alliums... but it just isn't the same. Not when I have a full-plot diagram laid out on the computer and packs of seeds on the shelves across the room.
I miss the Tomato forum. I hope I can hang out there a little after the semester ends.
