Just to demonstrate how disoriented I am, I went to a doctor's appointment today which isn't scheduled until next week. In my mind, this *was* the 23rd.
I've taken a few things to make myself more comfortable -- kidney tonic to convince my adrenal glands to stop goosing me, and B6 to get rid of the tremors this morning, along with my regular GSE. I'll add some salt if it seems lacking (i.e. if I can't taste it).
I'm pretty well convinced this is a pituitary cyst/tumor; my peripheral vision is dark (though not gone) and my visual processing is not what it should be... and it doesn't improve when I start feeling better, as it would with a chemical exposure. That fits right in with the scenario of something pressing on my visual cortex, which happens when the pituitary gets a growth on it. So, as far as I'm concerned, it's the last piece of the diagnostic puzzle. The only thing that remains is to lead a doctor through the last few tests to confirm it.
I have a plant diagnostic workshop on Tuesday, and we'll see how well I manage to run that with fatigue and visual processing issues. Otherwise I'm going to try to stick with activities which are more tactile or auditory, or where the visual component is high-contrast and doesn't take much fine focus. I have some black-and-white fairisle knitting which has been languishing for a while...
