Now they've gone and done it

Ohhh boy.
I got a call back from my gyno, which went to VM because my phone had turned itself off (sigh). Long story short, she said that if I'd like to discuss my issue further before my appointment, I can log on to the online care site and send her email.
So I went there and signed up, and found that it's not entirely simple to send mail directly to her... while running through the functions of what I can do (to see if there's a reasonable way to send a message regarding the specific issue), I ran across a list of "current health issues". I noted that they listed White Coat Syndrome, which is rather to be expected after my sky-high BP reading at the ER in May... but then I looked up at the top.
Obesity. Noted 7/6/2012.
Yeah.
...
I think it's time to make an appointment with whoever happens to be my PCP this month. And I think I'll continue my practice of refusing to be weighed, thankyouverymuch.
While I am currently about 15 pounds over my lean weight, I was not at that time. I think it's time to discuss fitness and metabolism in rather... firm tones, with someone who has the ability take that marker off my chart. Because if I don't have enough fat to result in adverse medical outcomes (I don't), what's the point of having it there?
