torquillI'm starting to think I ran into some crazymaker fumes at Long's yesterday. Since I can't smell whatever it is, I don't know for sure, but the delay (about 20 hours) is in the ballpark. I was, however, able to pull things together for a few hours to go out. The formal Mother's Day tea party was a great success. Many ladies dressed up, the food was fabulous (and for the first time, all of it was stuff I could eat, even though it was 90% baked goods). The tea itself was very good. Congratulations tosemy_of_pearls for hosting such a nice party.
I managed about two and a half hours of people before I had to flee. I think I'll spend most of the rest of the day curled up in bed, pretending the rest of the world doesn't exist.
Update: Five episodes of CSI, a bowl of black cherries, another Coke, and a net connection. In bed. I'm set.
