On the other hand, at least I uinderstand one of the allosteric functions much better, and the TA thanked me by saying "I think you helped me a lot more than I helped you." Heh.
I got delayed coming back from lunch by a blocked road, as the Tour of California came through. That'll teach me not to read the lists of upcoming city events... as it was, I waited for ten minutes and saw more very leggy men than I've ever seen in one place. Then they were gone.
Ran into my lab partner from last quarter and chatted a bit. That was fun.
The Check Engine light on my dashboard won't turn off. I'm pretty sure it's just bitching about a loose gas cap, but I tightened it two days ago. The manual says it takes "three driving trips" to turn off, but I've made something like six cold starts now. I'm probably going to ask Honda how much they want to charge me to ask it what's going on, and if they want any significant amount I'll probably just disconnect the battery long enough to make it forget. If it's an ongoing issue (the car is running fine) it'll light up again afterward, and I'll take it in.
I have little pots on a heat mat under the lamp. They should pop soon. It's that season...
