torquillI'm kind of at loose ends... caught up on lily and LJ both. I debated going to hang out at the yarn store (you can sit and knit there) during lunch, but decided I didn't feel like social interaction or knitting.
I don't feel like much of anything, lately. Reading is okay, knitting is okay, writing is okay, but nothing's grabbing me obsessively. I'm feeling the need to clean up and plan the next garden, but I haven't been home with enough daylight lately.
I'm tired today anyway. My legs are sore too... lots of mad dashes in the last week have given me a real workout.
I spent some time during Plant Physio mapping out the website look I want for the homework assignment. It may be time for a website overhaul again anyway; I'm tired of the current one, and it hasn't been updated fully since 2003. I'm thinking of going for a simpler theme, not quite so visually rich. I'll sketch some stuff on the tablet tonight, see whether what I come up with for the assignment is something I want for the live site.
I'm such a stickler for protocol: I twitched when the TA made no mention of what heading elements actually were, nor the theory that you really should start with H1 if you're going to use them at all. That discomfort was promptly eclipsed when she suggested changing the font on the header, and said "I really like Comic Sans, myself."
Old reflexes. Sigh.
