Battlebots update
Nov. 10th, 2008 14:43The main Battlebots site places the next competition on April 20-26, 2009. Location is "Northern California", quite possibly at Mare Island, and I would say almost certainly in the Bay Area.
They'll have back to back Professional (heavyweight class), College (middleweight class), and High School (middleweight class) competitions. They're also trying a new "innovative class" with no weight divisions and no rules; fighting in that class is optional.
They'll tape the event, but almost all the other details are up in the air. At least they seem to be actively pushing forward. This should be fun. :)
