Went up, had some blood drawn, a couple of x-rays, went out to pick carrots, back in time for lunch.
The phleb was better than he thought he was -- he got me on the first try, which is a small miracle. Between that and the speediness I got in to get the x-rays done, I'm really seeing the difference between Cowell and Kaiser. Small, efficient and skilled wins the day.
The sandy soil up there killed my skin -- my hands feel like sandpaper. Gotta deal with that... after I plant the beans and corn today. :)
For now, I'm realizing how cold the living room is. It's beautiful out there, but it must be 50 degrees in here. Brr.
