Richard Feynman in a nutshell. (The parent site has some other good ones.)

I'm tired.
Feb. 18th, 2007 21:56Today, I:
Planted broccoli (20, hope that's finally enough)
Weeded some more
Spread more leaf mulch
Strung up the peas
Rototilled half the front strip
Spent 40 minutes with hammer and chisel, extracting a chunk of wood from the rototiller tines
Rototilled the rest of the front strip
Planted the redbud, the nectarine, and the apple tree
Determined that the year-old dogwood is fatally flawed and has to be returned tomorrow (that may be a fight)
Weeded some of the fence line in the front
Planted 15' of daffodil bulbs
Planted ten narcissus bulbs
Watered things
Cooked dinner
Washed pots
Sowed five varieties of tomatoes and two types of pepper
Filed notches in four okra seeds before my hand started cramping
Sowed two pots of okra
Now I have to empty the dishwasher and wash pots and pans... but I figured I'd sit down for a little bit first.
I feel pretty good -- I dealt with almost everything that's been hanging over my head gardenwise. I still have to do a few things to put in the root barrier between the front and the lawn, and I may have to give in and pot up the rhubarb rather than wait for that... but I don't feel like anything's at imminent risk of death anymore, and I'm on track for the summer crops.
