We already knew this
Jan. 8th, 2006 00:20I have 69 varieties of tomato seed.
When a trade envelope arrives in the next few days, I will have 70.
I think the weirdest thing is that this doesn't seem like a lot to me -- after all, it's only 1% of the varieties known to exist, and 3.5% of the ones generally available.
I'm a geek.
(Proof that I'm a geek: I can tell you the color and general size of every tomato I have in my possession, and leaf type for most of them. Off the top of my head. Yet I can't remember the name of someone I've been introduced to half a dozen times at parties and cons. WTF?)
