The perils of hunger

torquillMy stomach was expecting Indian and got Middle Eastern. Not sure it's happy about that.
I'll eat damn near anything when I'm that hungry, sure. It was cheap ($7 including drink) and the curry had a surprising amount of meat in it for something served in a styrofoam cup. However, the last time I had a tomato sauce that tasted like that, it came out of a Chef Boyardee can.
I managed to wolf it down with the occasional help of the unexciting but plentiful rice. (Did I mention I hate sauces on my rice, and that goes triply for tomato-based sauces?)
I think I'll skip Ali Baba next time and go across the street to Raja's lunch buffet, which was giving off the aromas I had mistakenly attributed to Ali Baba. It really is a half-block from campus, so if it's any good, it may become a regular stop.
