torquillI have to get up at 7:15am for the cherry buckskin survey tomorrow. It's another early morning in a string of short nights. My alarm went off at 7:15 this morning, and will on Saturday too. I would be sleeping in tomorrow, if I hadn't volunteered to walk the orchards in Brentwood to look for a cherry disease.
Funny thing is, I don't do it for the free cherries. Free cherries wouldn't get me up at 7:15 to drive for 45 minutes out into the boondocks.
It's because this is what I do. I do it for love, and someday I will do it for money.
