Ups and downs

In the last two days:

• One of my favorite actors passed away.


• I got to do a post-Valentine gift and chat with eyeofcanaan, the first time I've seen her in six weeks.


• The exam this morning was horrible -- too long and too insane. I was panicking during the last half, and hadn't calmed down by my next class; I had to leave English, cry hysterically for ten minutes, then go back in.


• My new stereo is working like a dream, and I seem to have the sound mostly the way I want it.


• I keep getting hideously depressed (probably a combo of hormones and Andreas Katsulas' death finally hitting home).


• I get a four-day weekend now, not just a three-day.


• There are two lab reports and the rough draft of a paper due Thursday, though.


• Salim seems to be relaxing around me; I'm figuring out that I just need to be patient. (He's apparently terribly shy with women in general.)

I'm not really sure which way is up by now. Life isn't boring...
