What I've been up to

Both my headlights blew out day before yesterday, and I found out that I was missing two running lights too, so I bought two halogen bulbs and four running-light lamps (might as well replace them all at once) for a surprising $20 and put them in. Now my car is bright again. Except that I blew a taillight tonight. *sigh*
As a result of the headlight failure,
foogod drove me in his car to Rasputin. I used the $50 AmEx gift card from my birthday and scored four CDs for $45, with my discount card taking off the tax. :) I have music now, lots of music. I've been listening to Savage Garden, but when I tire of that, I have Seal and two mix albums (one by Sasha, one by The Crystal Method) to try out. In addition to Toad the Wet Sprocket, which I got for Christmas.
I'm in the middle of processing the second load of soup in two days. Yesterday was vegetarian ten-bean soup with terragon, tonight is chicken with wild rice. I'm trying to stock up before school hits... I hope I can find some time to make chili, too.
This weekend is the Bash, which will take some time away from my other projects. But hey, it's only twice a year...
I have little pepper sprouts turning green under the fluorescent lights in my seedling rack, and leeks waiting to come up on the top level. Tomato-sowing is just around the corner.
And I've been trading tomato seed, so in addition to my Pintsize and sexy goodness (eeeeeeeeee!) I've been getting envelopes from all over the rest of the country, with little baggies of tomato seed in them. I've been spreading the joy that is the Vorlon tomato in return.
It's raining again.
