Phase shift
Aug. 6th, 2015 16:09So I started bleeding more heavily yesterday, and today I can feel the PMS brainfog coming on... but OMG I just ate something and it made me feel BETTER. That's the first time in almost two weeks. So often the response was neutral, or I felt like utter crap after eating.
The nausea is easing. My appetite is coming back. My energy is tanking and I can't think clearly, but very soon I will be able to eat again! WOO!
There is a way out of this, and no matter how much each stage sucks (in different ways) it'll pass in due course. This experience has given me a new understanding of how I appreciate food, though. I'm looking forward to things like pasta with clam sauce and parmesan, and root beer, and...
I'll end the birth control tomorrow. I need to make it to the Bash this weekend, but that's very low-key. After that... we'll see.
