Same old, same old
I must beg forgiveness of
knaveofhearts... I have to find some way of reining in my Bluetooth headset, so that it can't turn itself on and dial the last person I talked to, particularly at 8:30 am. I expect the answer lies somewhere in the phone settings, but I have to find it. Meanwhile it's stuffed in my glove in the top of my bag and (I think) hasn't managed to wake itself up again.
Something is crashing the ARC's computer terminals. Given that they're consoles connected to a *nix box, running only X, LWVM, and an automatic instance of Firefox, that's saying something. I had to kill X several times and stroke the command line until it calmed down and stopped handing me "Bad Window Parameter" errors. (Then it spontaneously killed the X session itself and lost this post for a while.) I mentioned it to the front desk people.
I managed to forget my knitting again. Bah.
Nick reminded me that there's no school tomorrow. Woo! I get a little more time to do stuff around the house. And work on the Alfa. :)
I brought writing with me today -- it feels good to have a little leisure to write. I'm not one of those *grits teeth* NaNoWriMo (yes, I too hate that "word") people, but I have about five different fanfics/metastories rattling around in my head at the moment at various stages of completion. I tend to go a little nutty when I don't have a chance to get them out.

Now I have that song going through my head, whee! I may actually buy the albums.
