Ow. Again.
May. 1st, 2006 01:20I haven't fallen down backward in years.
The good news: I fell on woodchips, so I didn't do in my tailbone.
The bad news: I fell onto a brushpile, so that a stick jabbed me directly between the points of my shoulderblades.
At this point in my healing process, my middle-back is probably the most vulnerable. I don't know what I put out, or how badly, but if nothing else the goosegg next to my spine is making its presence known. I'm able to take a full breath, but I can feel the ache when I move my back in any way.
I see Dr. J on Thursday. I really hope I'm not in a world of pain between now and then. Tomorrow will probably be the worst, and if my body doesn't decide to take all of this as a massive insult, I should be okay.
Sigh.
