Pen missile!
Kudos to anyone who gets that reference...
The front tire of my bike was at 35 pounds. No wonder I was having to work so hard... I cranked it up to 60 pounds, put a little air in the back for good measure, and now it feels like I don't have to pedal constantly.
The pressure gauge I got is one of the crappy pencil ones -- hard to set properly, with too large a range and tiny little marks on the stick. It's good enough for getting on with, though, and at least it doesn't blow its innards when faced with 60 pounds of pressure (ask me about the truck tires sometime). I'll try to pick up a good dial gauge this weekend.
Nothing around here opens before 9. Sleepy college towns don't mix well with getting here slightly after eight (though the train was about twenty minutes late today). Ah, well, that's what this 45 minutes between classes is for. Or did I decide it was for LJ? hmm.
